»Heating modernisation in residential buildings« – a book about systems engineering

A complex topic presented in an understandable way: The DVA book provides architects and planners with comprehensive knowledge of system technology in the context of energy-related building refurbishment.

Services: Despite free design, consistent adherence to corporate design, layout title, layout book.

This book focuses on heating modernisation and the specific requirements associated with the renovation of a residential building. In the practice-oriented guide, the planner will find basic knowledge for the differentiation and evaluation of existing systems as well as approaches for sustainable heating modernisation. Project examples show how the theoretical knowledge can be put into practice. The book, which is the first of two volumes, was created at a very high level of design to meet the needs of the demanding target groups.

Claudia Siegele, with whom we have been working together for a long time and with great pleasure, was responsible for the project. The pictures were photographed throughout by Tom Pischell and the illustrations were created by Michael Römer. The result was a consistent and convincing appearance. As far as the corporate design allowed, we were able to use all the freedom in the layout and, despite the technical subject matter, create a very aesthetic book.
