In 2006 the new synagogue “Ohel Jakob” was opened in Munich. On this occasion a brochure with photographs by Wilfried Dechau was published, documenting the building’s construction.

The architects laid a bronze mesh fabric over the entire structure, which shines golden in the sunlight. The grid for the book layout is based on this square metallic mesh. The materiality was also chosen as the fifth Special colour
»bronze« added to the brochure. The book focuses on the images of the architectural photographer Wilfried Dechau. The visual language of the impressive photos is supported by the clear composition and sophisticated page dramaturgy.
